Thank you for asking us to see Simone again. As you know she has been complaining of increasing pain over the lumbar area and also over her SI joints, particularly under the scar on the left.
On examination she had a reasonably straight spine. Straight leg raising was limited on the to about 40 degrees. However, all her reflexes were intact.
Furthjer X-rays of her whole spine and pelvic area were all satisfactory. After discussing with Mr Jackson we feel it may be she needs further time for these symptoms to settle and I am arranging that she be seen in six months time. If her symptoms havenīt settled, it may be that she would need an MRI scan to exclude a disc lesion. We will contact you following her next visit.
This all sounds like a fob off to me! This was a review after complaining about pain and my surgery was March 1989! I have continued with these issues for 21 years now.
I gave up talking about it, nobody seemed to care!
