Always ask the surgeon for his CV so you can check his details.

Do you have any neurologic symptoms as numbness or paresis in arms or legs?

Have you been treated with a brace?

Do you have x rays?

Do you have MRI?

Have you been operated?

In what hospital?

By which surgeon?

Do you know what operation you went through?

What other doctor's have you seen?

Do you have pain?

Where do you have pain?

When do you have pain?

For how long?

Make sure to tell the doctor all exercises and exercising that you are doing on your own, some of that could be contributing to the pain and the doctor can advise on what would be better or what to stop doing.

Describe your job duties to the doctor. Maybe there is something that can be changed to ease or lessen the pain and a note from the doctor will always do the trick.
