Stubbing October 1994
I should be very grateful if you would be prepared to see this 18 year old girl who has been under the care of Mr Jackson's team at LMTH/Southampton, having had a Harrington rod inserted for an infantile scoliosis.
Overall she has had an excellent result. However, over the last two years she has had increasing problems with pain at the lumbo sacral junction on the left side. This is especially worse at the end of the day. When seen by Mr Jackson at the end of 1993, he felt this was likely to be due to a facet syndrome at the lumbo sacral junction.
She is otherwise fit and well but is unwilling, as are her parents, to continue this degree of limitation due to pain if at all possible. I should be very grateful if you would be prepared to see her and consider intervention for pain relief.
Dr Watters requesting me to see Dr Stubbing.
